Have you ever had difficulty in getting an image to re-size and stay proportional? The solution to proportional resizing, in Microsoft Office and most other office software, is to make the adjustment using the image corner handles.
Click on the image that you want to scale. You should see eight “handles” one the image. One at each of the four corners (these are circles) and one in the center of each side (these are square).
Click and drag on one of the corner handles and your image will scale proportionally. If you use the handles located on the top, bottom or sides of the image you will distort the image. This means that the image will either be squashed or stretched in height or width.
Typically this results in an image that looks unprofessional. Care needs to be used to ensure that the logos and images always appears in the correct proportional scale. |
